This session is designed to help undergraduate students understand how to get involved in research and creative inquiry while at UNCG. The session will also cover some of the options for support that are available through the URSCO and the Lloyd International Honors College.
There will be a presentation on the NSF GRFP by a prior NSF Program Officer followed by Q&A to guide the process. This program is for students in the science fields to obtain funding for their graduate studies.
This session will focus on the overall graduate school application process and how to create a timeline and "to-do" list of all the application steps. We'll also cover where/how to take graduate level admissions tests you may need, how to ask for letters.

This session will introduce literature reviews as an integral aspect of the research process. Literature reviews are topic overviews that summarize previous publications about a particular topic. We will also look into how to use health science and STEM databases (and why they help with research).
